After sending out my poetry to different literary journals for about one solid year now, I have begun to see the fruits of this labor. While I still have a poem that’s forthcoming in the Clackamas Literary Review, and four others coming out in Chasing Shadows sometime in June, my most recent acceptance was published online here. My poem, “Frozen with Fever,” is now live.

Still no word on the two chapbooks I sent out for different contests. I’ll keep everyone posted. Also, please note that I have added a new page to this site. Individual Publications is an ongoing list of each individual piece of mine that has been published either online or in print. Some of them don’t have links because the literary journal has become defunct. Please check out those that do have links, and enjoy. Also consider subscribing to these small literary journals as a show of support. Most you can subscribe to for free. (I don’t get anything from your subscription, either, so this isn’t a selfish plug.)

Today it is sunny. It is warm. And I intend to maximize the beauty by going for a drive and then a short hike out at one of my favorite hiking spots: Silver Falls State Park. It’s just too beautiful outside for me to let the sunshine slip by. And tomorrow is supposed to be a little bit cloudy. So, today is for sunshine, hikes, and waterfalls.
